Zhexuan Fang
Began studying saxophone in 2010. • Admitted to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2019, under the tutelage of Professor Zhang Xiaolu. • Graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2023. Awards and Honors: • 2019: Gold Medal in the Saxophone Category at the Zhejiang Province “Youxin Cup” Wind Instrument Solo Exhibition. • 2019: “Golden Bell Star” award at the 7th China Golden Bell Solo Competition. • 2020: First Prize in the Saxophone Category at the Bonn International Music Competition “Artist Grand Prix” in Germany. • 2022: First Prize at the 2nd Swiss International Music Competition. • 2022: Second Prize at the 6th Geneva International Music Competition. Skills: • Proficient in coaching saxophone sections in primary and secondary school bands. • Experienced in one-on-one saxophone instruction. • Knowledgeable in basic music theory tutoring.
